Department of Neurology in Dr. Jeyasekharan Medical Trust is fully equipped and has the advanced treatment options according to latest international / national guidelines. Our expert doctors will guide you choosing the appropriate treatment options. The neuro team has Neuro Physician, Neuro Surgeon, Emergency Physician, Intensivist and Physiatrist who are well supported by Physiotherapist, Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist and Neuro technicians.
Dr. Selvan M.Ch. is our consultant Neurosurgeon who also form an integral part of the trauma team. Most of the cases done here are on an emergency basis and trauma related (craniotomies, drainage and decompression procedures) but occasional ‘cold’ cranial and spinal surgery is also done facilitated by the availability of the option of microscope-assisted surgery.
The hospital also has a well equipped electrophysiology lab with facilities for EEG testing and interpretation, Nerve Conduction studies and Electromyography.
