Dr. Jeyasekharan Hospital and Nursing Home was founded by the late Dr. N. D. Jeyasekharan in 1965. It is a Multispecialty Hospital offering quality medical services with reliable diagnostic facilities and 24-hour Accident & Emergency care.
Over the years, the Trust has grown steadily with new facilities and specialties, earning a reputation across Kanyakumari District and Southern Tamil Nadu. Today, it serves as a referral centre and an NBE accredited post-graduate institution.
The Trust also plays a vital role in education by offering Nursing and Paramedical courses, shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals with compassion, skill, and integrity.
It is now 50 years since Jeyasekharan Hospital was started. We thank God for all His mercies and guidance over the years.
In June 1965, Dr. N. D. Jeyasekharan left the Neyyoor Medical Mission after serving it for nearly eight years. A modest nursing home was started with bare necessities. Those were difficult times for the Doctor and the nurses, but the confidence and trust of patients, relentless hard work, and goodwill of friends and relatives helped the institution grow steadily into what it is today.
